CENTRAL SQUARE, N.Y. -- The Board of Education in the Central Square School District has decided to delay any decisions on redistricting until next year.
Last month, the district held a special public meeting to say they planned to close Central Square Intermediate School for the 2012-2013 school year. The Board had proposed three options for repurposing the building. But this week, a letter was sent home to parents informing them that all buildings will remain open next year.
The superintendent says the board will continue to study its options and seek community input to come up with a plan for the 2013-2014 school year.
