ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- While many voters say they feel like they had a great variety and choice of candidates to vote for, the reality remains that in a number of races candidates were running unopposed. Several races also had the same candidates as previous years.

Many voters we spoke with say they were disappointed with the field of people running for office.

"I voted quite a lot over the years. I'm 78 and to me, there's just not quite enough candidates there," North Syracuse resident Lawrence White said.

"I would like to see more qualified candidates running for office, so you would have a greater chance to get the diversity we need to solve the problems we face," said North Syracuse resident Ron Frey.
