SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After struggling in the first half on Saturday the Syracuse women's basketball team pulled away from Binghamton in the second half to win 68-45.

Syracuse (10-1) only led the Bearcats (1-10) by three points late in the first half before a 10-0 closing run gave the Orange breathing room at 30-17. They never looked back.

Elashier Hall led the Orange with 14 points, Kayla Alexander had 12 with five rebounds and four blocks, and freshmen Brittney Sykes and Brianna Butler combined for 22 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals.

Sharae Swinson was the only BU player to score in double-figures with 10 while Jasbriell Swain and Morgan Murphy each grabbed 10 rebounds. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
