Syracuse University football fans are wondering what's next for the Orange football program. Several sources, including the Associated Press, are reporting that Marrone has reached an agreement to take over as head coach of the Buffalo Bills. We are expecting to get an official word sometime today. YNN's Brad Vivacqua is outside of Manley Field House where the team trains regularly.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Despite knowing that Doug Marrone would be interviewing for a few NFL coaching jobs, many fans still believed he would be coaching in Syracuse for a very long time. Now, a day after news broke that he would reportedly be the next coach of the Buffalo Bills fans have quite a few questions.

After a 500 record and two Pinstripe Bowl victories in four years, fans feel SU's program was in a great position to keep getting better under Marrone.

SU is heading to the ACC next year and many fans feel the program was in good shape to enter a new conference with their current leader.

There was plenty of buzz about the news on Sunday as social media sites were filled with comments. Many fans are curious about what the Bills offered Marrone to leave Syracuse, and who will be the next SU head coach.

Some of Marrone's present and former players were quick to make their thoughts public on Twitter, wishing Marrone the best.

SU offensive tackle Justin Pugh who recently announced he will enter the NFL draft said, "I think we should all appreciate what Coach Marrone did for Syracuse. He left the program in much better shape than he found it."

Former running back Antwon Bailey said, "Happy for Marrone. Great coach. Tough that he's leaving the Cuse. Changed the mindset of a program, players and fans."

And finally, former SU quarterback Greg Paulus said, "Congrats to @CoachMarrone on becoming the Buffalo Bills Head Coach! Proud to have played for him for a year."

We are expecting to get an official announcement and more details about the Marrone move today. There is no word on when SU plans to name a new head coach at this point. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
