Two injured in home invasion robbery

  • Text size: + -

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a shooting and robbery that happened during a home invasion early Sunday morning. They say two men forced their way into a home on the 100-block of Sedgwick Street a little before 3:30 a.m.

Two men inside, ages 23 and 24, were shot during the robbery. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police say it appears the house was targeted by the suspects, and this home invasion does not appear to be connected to the Sunday morning homicide on Highland Street.

Anyone with information on the home invasion is asked to call Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.
